How to beat the heat!

It's the middle of summer, it's 103 degrees, and I need to cool off. What do I do? I take a dip in the pool!

It's time for an update!

I've been very busy doing all sorts of stuff. First of all, here are those teeth mommy has been trying to take a picture of. You can't see them really good yet, but there are three of them in there.



I went to 2 birthday parties in 2 days, they were very fun but boy, was I worn out.

I got to take a spin in his walker, I had a lot of fun bouncing in it! Then I figured out that I could get around the whole room in it. Weeeeee!

One of the parties was at a swimming pool, Auntie Cella makes me laugh!!

I am keeping myself busy with plenty of toys and activity.

I am always into something, even the toy bucket!

I'm starting to pull myself up to a stand!

I wonder when daddy will be home? I'll watch for him!

I'm learning to use a sippy cup too, I can chew on it pretty good, mommy still helps me get the water out.

Well that's it for now, I'm sure mommy will take me on some more adventures soon!!

I finally figured out how this crawling thing works, arm, leg, arm, leg. I am crawling!!!!

Also, I have 2 more teeth on the bottom, they both came in on the same day. Ouchy! Soon I'll have a whole mouth full of chompers.

I have found a new sound!

I recently discovered that I know how to babble. I can say nananana and yayayaya along with all my other cute noises. I think it's pretty fun!

I have a tooth!!!!

I now have a tooth, one of my bottom teeth has popped through the gums just a little bit. It won't be long before I'm eating some steak! ;) But for now I like to chew on my raspberry and anything else I can get my hands on. I think the other teeth are not far behind. When they grow in a little more I'll let mommy take a picture to show you.

I am also the master of my mobility, I can sit up, lay down, sit up, lay down again, and even though I can't crawl yet, I can scoot anywhere I want to go.

4th of July Fun!

To celebrate my very first 4th of July, Grammy and Papa took me and Mommy to the Edmonds parade. It was very interesting, lots of things to look at and a ton of kids, all dressed up in red, white and blue!

I had my red, white and blue on too!

There goes J.P.Patches!!!! He was the grand marshall of the parade.

Afterwards we went to Grammy's house.

We enjoyed the sun out on the deck.

I'm ready for my lunch!!

We took the opportunity to take a picture of four generations.

Later that night, when Daddy got done with work, we went home to light off some fireworks with our neighbors. I got to stay up late and watch everyone celebrate. I liked watching the pretty fireworks, except some of the loud ones scared me a little, but I was safe in Mommy's arms wrapped up tight in my blankie. I got so used to them that I fell fast asleep.

I hope everyone had a fun 4th of July like I did.

I am getting ready to crawl, but right now all I can do is bounce like a froggy. It won't be long before I can go anywhere I want. :)

Party Party Party!

This last weekend was filled with parties. I went to a candle party with Mommy on Friday, and I was the belle of the ball. Grammy was there and a lot of Mommy's work friends too. It was fun to visit with all of them.

On Saturday I had TWO parties to go to!! First we went to see Mommy's friend Stacey. It was her baby shower. I had a bunch fun playing with everyone, and looking at Tristan's new things. I can't wait to meet him in person.

After that we went to my cousin Alivia's birthday party, she is 6 years old!! It was real noisy and lots of people to visit. I had a good time playing with all my cousins and friends.
